As a little girl growing up I, like many others, was fascinated by horses. Their gentle grace accompanied by such raw power was tantalising. I spent many hours pouring over books learning all I could and getting lost in the images they contained. I could only dream of having the privilege to share my life with an equine companion of my own.
Now, I have not just one, but seven members of my equine family. They feature in many of my photos and are my daily inspiration. I strive to capture the personality behind every shot I take. Whether it be a portrait showing the gleam in his eye, or an action shot of him responding to his rider's request. Nothing beats seeing the horse in front of me captured in all his glory in a photograph.
